Stated as plainly as the rest, because a limit found after purchase is worse than a limit read before it.
Postings, decisions, drafts and the tracker are held in a database on the machine itself, kept outside any folder that syncs to the cloud. Everything in it exports on request, and deleting the application takes it with it.
Career data never passes through this publisher’s hands. Assessment and drafting are carried out by a large language model, so the fit brief, the factsheet and the text of each posting under assessment do leave the machine — but they travel straight to the model provider, on an account belonging to the person using Dawnlist, under a key held in the operating system’s own credential store. There is no intermediary holding any of it. A route through one was built during development and then deliberately removed.
What does pass through a service of this publisher’s own is the job search itself: a query, and the postings that come back. Those carry nobody’s history. A full privacy policy is published alongside the application, before anything can be bought.
